But there are some more legal-ish ones as well. This is an open directory I found that has old video game soundtracks (you can find some other free ones out there). Oh my, just after posting this, an amazing link came on /r/datahoarder on reddit. It is music from Kmart from the 80s and 90s, absolutely amazing as background music actually.
