Took my first Oracle SQL course last week (I had played with it some in last job for automation, but didn’t know what I was really doing). I put all my code on github for DBA’s to look over and tell me how terrible it is 🙂
It should be interesting to get my first feedback, I am already trying to clean up the code and commenting. SQL allows your code to be ugly (no spacing or capitalization requirements). I can be lazy when it comes to clean code, so I am going to have to be careful with that for sure!
Learning is fun again, and I hope to keep up to date on programming and how I can use it in my current position to help save time and make sure things are done correct and clean.
